Copper Staves is an important component of blast furnace in iron and steel industry. Blast furnaces are used to convert iron ore into molten iron, which is then used to produce various steel products. The inner walls of the blast furnace are lined with copper rods. They are usually water cooled and made of copper, which has high thermal conductivity and is resistant to corrosion and erosion.
