Functional organosilanes are generally referred to as functional silanes in terms of structure. From a functional point of view, functional silanes are mostly hybrid structures, and most products contain both polar and non-polar functional groups in the same molecule. The general formula of functional silanes is RSiX3, where R represents groups such as amino, vinyl, epoxy and methylacryloyloxy, which are easy to react with functional groups in organic polymers, so that silane and organic Polymer link. X represents a hydrolyzable group, which is used to improve the actual bonding strength between the polymer and the inorganic substance.

These products are in higher demand in end-use applications due to their excellent qualities including cold resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, deformability, adhesion, reliability, and electrical properties.
