Water-soluble coatings are coatings with water-soluble resins as the base material and water as the solvent. The resin has a low molecular weight and is highly hydrophilic. It can react with hydrophilic groups by its own reaction groups or by adding a curing agent. Water-soluble paints can be divided into drying and room temperature drying types according to the type of drying. Because they do not contain organic solvents, they are safe for construction and are not harmful to humans. However, its performance is poorer than that of solvent-based paints.
