Type K: Chromel (90% nickel and 10% chromium) and Alumel (95% nickel, 2% aluminum, 2% manganese, and 1% silicon).
Type J: Iron and Constantan (55% copper and 45% nickel).
Type T: Copper and Constantan.
Type E: Chromel and Constantan.
Type N: Nicrosil (84% nickel, 14.2% chromium, 1.4% silicon, and 0.4% magnesium) and Nisil (95.5% nickel, 4.4% silicon, and 0.1% magnesium).
