The Bidirectional scattering distribution function Meter is an instrument used to measure the scattering characteristics of materials. It can measure the scattered light distribution of materials at different incidence and observation angles to obtain their reflection, transmission, and scattering properties. BSDF measuring instrument usually consists of the following main components: light source: used to generate incident light, which can be monochromatic light source, white light source or laser light source, depending on the measurement requirements. Optical system: includes optical components such as lenses and mirrors, used to focus or direct light beams onto the material to be tested, and collect light scattered from different angles.
