A broadband time-domain terahertz spectrometer is a device used to measure and analyze electromagnetic waves in the terahertz frequency band (1 terahertz=10 ^ 12 Hz). It utilizes time-domain technology to obtain the spectral characteristics of the sample in the terahertz frequency band by measuring the delay, amplitude, and phase information of the terahertz pulse signal. The principle of broadband time-domain terahertz spectrometer is based on time-domain Spectroscopy. It uses a terahertz pulse laser source to generate a wideband terahertz pulse signal and send it to the sample. After the interaction between the sample and the terahertz signal, the reflected or transmitted signal generated is captured by the terahertz detector. By measuring the time delay and amplitude information of the terahertz signal, and then undergoing Fourier transform processing, the frequency domain spectrum of the sample in the terahertz frequency band can be obtained.
