Coherent Doppler Wind LiDAR is based on the principle of laser pulse Doppler frequency shift, and continuously measures wind speed, wind direction, 3D wind profile and other information according to the laser backscatter echoes of particles in the air (dust, salt crystals, cloud water vapor, pollution particles and other aerosols) to obtain high-spatial-resolution and high-precision wind field data in real time. It is a new type of atmospheric detection instrument with a wide range of applications. It can be used in wind resource detection, wind farm post-evaluation, wind power prediction system, wind farm operation management, atmospheric physics research, weather detection and forecasting and other scenarios.
