DMLS 3D printers can be used to produce very complex high-precision parts. DMLS uses a high-energy laser beam controlled by 3D model data to locally melt the metal matrix, while sintering solidifies the powder metal material and automatically stacks the layers to generate dense geometric solid parts. This part manufacturing process is called "direct metal laser sintering technology (DirectMetal Laser-Sintering). DMLS is metal powder molding, and there are two types of coaxial powder feeding and roller powder feeding. Due to the laser beam concentration and small penetration ability, Suitable for the sintering of small area, flake products. It is easy to sinter together powder or flake compacts different from the matrix composition.
