Polycrystalline furnaces are equipment used to produce polycrystalline silicon, which is an important raw material for semiconductor devices such as solar cells. Its working principle is to prepare polysilicon by melting silicon raw material through a specific cooling and crystallization process. In a polycrystalline furnace, silicon raw material is first heated to a molten state, and then crystallized through a constant temperature gradient to form multiple crystal grains. These crystalline grains grow gradually, eventually forming a block of polycrystalline silicon, where each crystalline grain has a slightly different lattice orientation, resulting in a polycrystalline structure. The prepared polycrystalline silicon block is then cut and processed to form silicon wafers suitable for solar cells.
